EMI Mixed Repertoire

Electrical and Music Industries, as it's more formally known, was formed in 1931 from a merger of other companies (including His Master's Voice). In the same year it also opened the new legendary Abbey Road recording studios. In its early incarnation and it had a substantial and venerable classical music catalogue, but moved into popular music very successfully from the 1950s onwards and had a roster that boasted Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, The Shadows, The Beach Boys and Pink Floyd. We've been fortunate to get access to some of that fantastic catalogue, which also includes incredible labels like Blue Note, Parlophone and Minit and we'll be rolling out various albums and songs over the coming months.
