A debut record for the moniker of George Lewis Jr. In the vein of bands like Summer Camp where the fuzzy feeling of 80s movies infects the music rather than being of it, this is a truly gorgeous album. Full of great melodies, thumping basslines plus guitars that you want to be playing at the end of 'Mannequin'. Give the heartfelt 'Slow' a go and you won't be disappointed but with the last track 'Forget', Twin Shadow seems to crystallise everything perfectly... so much so that you end up playing the record all over again.
