Having producer to some of the biggest hip hop artist around J Dilla has if not singlehandedly changed the face of the rap game has at least had a massive hand re-inventing and re-imagining what hip hop sounds like. Tracks like 'Baby' and 'So Far To Go' that effortlessly seem to flow through jazz and soul and the space age cyber-funk of 'Raw Shit' are modern day classics. Whilst the looped-up composition on tracks such as 'WorkinOnit' could have been released last year. This is an anthology that never lets up.
