Peacefrog

Set up by Pete Hutchison in 1991, Peacefrog (named after the Doors song) began life releasing high quality techno and obscure house, providing an early platform for artists like Moodymann, Dan Curtin and Dan Bell’s DBX. It has an almost unrivalled back catalogue of superb 4/4, but over the past ten years began moving into totally different directions, developing new artists and scored a major worldwide hit with José Gonzalez’s ‘Heartbeats’ which was featured on a Sony advert and took the label on to a whole different level. They have also released two albums by the terrific (and severely underrated) Little Dragon.
