Akwaaba was a production project that included Steve Kotey and Mudd and released a series of singles on Discfunction. With a heavy interest in African sounds but with a modern, dubby, soulful take and informed as much by house as the putative Balearic scene, they released a pair of excellent albums that are now available digitally.
