I think I first came across this on the furtive 50 thread for last year. This has to be one of my favourite house tracks in a long time. It has me leaping around my house like a deranged middle-aged man, whilst taking me right back to being 20 years old all over again. The cruel trick that time plays on us seems to be overcome when I listen to music like this - radio bloody rentals!

1979 hiphop

(i'm in love with the rhythms but somehow wish it was all made with different noises and i don't really like any lyrics in music)

original style comp was the best release i found to buy of this sort of sound. also there were some great tracks on one of the numero eccentric soul comps

An extremely rare (only 13 copies pressed) mongolian throat singing 7", a David Mancuso favorite I might add.

Actually I lied, I was listening to this:

I was overjoyed at the recent 2x12" reissue with the Omni version, the Unfinished Business version, and both instrumentals. never far from my turntables these days. i'd like to shake the hand of the fella who runs Still Music/Stilove4music. Great stuff.
