I'm sure Allsgood will be along in a while to give you the low-down on Toronto proper, but if you happen to take a side trip to Niagara Falls under your own steam, check out Dr Disc in Hamilton (about half-way between the two). I've had some good finds in the basement, plenty of digging to be done there Smile

Slinky Music on West Queen West in Toronto might be worth checking out, too.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tips bgpz. I missed this post. ;( Just saw it today and I'm back in SF. I did a little bit of digging in the Soul Shack in the back of 'In the Groove' and also picked up a copy of Midnight Run at Discovery Records, both stores on Queen Street East. I think I'll be back in the summer time, so I'll have to check out Slinky Music. Late....

There are two Cosmo Records locations on Queen Street, good place for disco, classic house, etc. (When I brought Mr. Fingers 'Closer' to the cash, the clerk told me Larry Heard had visited once :jawdrop:)

Also Moog Audio has records.. also on Queen. Found some newer techno, tech-house there

Play De Record

sure there are many others... I've had luck at all of the above

Andrew, heading to Toronto in a few weeks (for xmas again and a few days after). I would like to hit up a record shop or two and dig for some disco/comic/acid house. I'm thinking downtown somewhere?

I just caught a Harvey set at Public Works in SF - Great set and a fun time!

I just dug out Pigs in Space EP from my collection, didn't realize that was you! Nice one!

Thanks all for the tips in previous posts.
