Anyone know if you can convert those files? I am going to hang out down here away from the 'is my mum balearic' posse.

Akram Audio Converter for Real to MP3.

Audicity for live recording of streams to Wave or MP3 and basic editing.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Castripper for downloading the streams direct (this works on the Simonelli site).

I can't believe I slept on these tapes. Fantastic stuff - just a shame they're still in .rm format. I can understand now why it took Tom so long to put them together Smile

Grateful if someone could fill in the blanks for the two other ones that are on Victor Simonelli's site.

From listening to it, 'Law of The Land' seems be followed directly by Party Freaks parts 2 & 1.

*Edit - and I have no clue what the first track is.

Thanks, but this is the same file re-encoded at 192k. I wonder if Victor (or whoever has Barry Lederer's tapes at the moment) will have a chance to rip them once more?

aye, all I've done is record the rm file with audacity and saved as mp3 - So yes it's a re-encode, transcode, whatever you wanna call it...

simply means you can put it on whatever mp3plyer you use to listen...I did it for me so I can listen on my way to work, thought it may save sum folk the time of doing it themselves.

Realplayer has a built in convertor these days. I've done that and have been meaning to have a go at remastering these
