I've not seen them but I wondered what people thought/think of their live show?
The reason being, I've just read in the recent MOJO the review of a recent performance they did at a Japanese (I think) festival and it comes across as intriguing to say the least. The main thrust being they really have tried to throw off their early image even further by opening with an atmospheric feel, generally being more abstract throughout with reinterpretations of old songs and the use a second drummer who plays a breakbeat kinda thing. It sounds great but I wonder if anyone has seen them recently? Or indeed what other gigs people have seen where the music fits a more abstract feel (as opposed to clearly divided songs)?

Some people don't like Thom's voice but I've never had a problem with it - would certainly recommend investing in a gig ticket - you'll be unlikely to regret it (they often have the likes of Caribou supporting too....)
Best entry album for DJ History folk I'd say In Rainbows followed by Kid A....
