Hey all,

A few things up on Test Pressing you might like.

First up there's a cracking mix from Paul Williams of Island and Island-related tracks to go alongside a post about the documentary the other night (the first hour was great).

Secondly, there's an edited version of our radio show which is basically Phil Mison in the mix pretty much the whole thing so enjoy that.

Finally, Phil came round the other night with some bits from days gone by so there's a few great articles - one from the NME in 1989 on Amnesia and one from a mag called Soul Underground in 1988 featuring Rampling, Mark Moore and loads of others that is excellent.

Anyway, enjoy. It's all here.

Paul.

Thanks for the kind words sir. I don't actually think it's Pat Metheny weirdly though it really sounds like him. It's one of Phils undercover numbers I think. I am digging that crazy percussive record somewhere early on too that sounds all a bit Elkin and Nelson. Mison turning them over...

Lovely, lovely stuff.

Is the Metheny sounding one ‘Slip Away’ put through a Flux Capacitor?

Don't think so - it's got the chord changes from Chris/This Is Not America.

There was a track last year that chopped up ‘Are you Going With Me?’ if I remember correctly. Could be the same people?

Luckily found that one this morning:

Ennio Morricone - Amore Come Dolore (Needs Remix),
