Thanks for everyone who came last night, think it was one of the best parties we've done at Corsica for over two years. Great atmosphere, no-one deterred by the shit weather and brilliant music all night long. Particular props to Dan Psychemagik and Raj in the main room and Michael i the backroom (despite technical hitches!).

Hopefully we'll have the mixes up shortly.

Whoop.

Looking forward to hearing the mixes. For those of us living too far away to attend in person, they're a bit of a life-line.

What a brilliant night!

The main room was the place to be for me - Ray Mang totally smashed it in there, playing absolutely the right mix of music in that midnight till 2 spot, one of the best non resident sets I've heard at Lowlife. Whoever was on before him (and the cabaret, which was hilarious) warmed things up nicely in a real disco stylie.

However great the music was it was matched by the lighting, with the floor plunged into darkness for what seemed like forever and the only light coming from an illuminous cowboy stetson or Dan PsychemajiK's... hat? Before the lights going up again to show bright smiley faces. Big room drama! Wink

As usual I'm thankful for the Monday off work.

I've lost my voice after having afters with Dan Psychemagik and his missus.

Epic lowlife. Not to be forgotten in a hurry. Smile

Cheers for a corking night/day.

Ace, ace and more ace.

packed in both rooms which made for a great atmosphere.

Matthew B what was that mad piano number you played that had the chorus/refrain about cowboys and gamblers?

Michael played a brilliant set as well. I admit to playing air drums to 'altered states'.

talking of altered states it was fun watching people try and play cards at the gambling table. the croupier had the patience of s saint Smile

caught a bit of Mang and about an hour of Cookula's - great stuff both. Unfortunately, had to keep it together for Sunday and bailed early. Atmos was one of the best I've been to.

Can think of at least 3 ladies in the main room who are DEAD CERTS to feature in Beaver's snaps Smile

Haha - me too - that was a 'special' moment for me. everything about the party was ace.
i wasn't sure who actually played in room 1 but it was consistently amazing and michael was ace in the other room too.
a superlative lowlife, which more than made up for my missing the last one.

Any news on the mixes at all?

Drawing a real blank on the Psychemajik one but I know I was in the room when he was playing so would love a little memory jog to make it all come flooding back!

Ta for these - from the Psychemagik mix does anyone know what that house remix of Kenny Loggins' "I Believe in Love" is?

I remember finding it particularly enjoyable on the night.

I've taken them down and reuploaded them all, will post links later, but Raj didn't want his up yet because there are a lot of unreleased things and he doesn't want to piss the relevant labels off.

what's the second version of walking on sunshine Raj plays on the mix I've not heard since it never existed, the one after the cover version with the female vocal, which is all electronic & a tad acidic?
