NODISKO – THE THIRD BIRTHDAY SPECIAL

Blimey. Three years? That one really crept up on us.
Back in December 2003, Nodisko launched one Sunday night in West London. Since then it’s become one of the capital’s most exciting new nights, running for two years at after-hours club Woodys while playing guest spots all over the shop. We also threw two special Nodisko Live events at Cargo before pitching sticks to JAMM in south London for a series of huge events featuring live bands, electronic acts, DJs and, for our two Summer Love-Ins, outdoor BBQs on the venue’s open-air terrace. Our twelve-hour July mini-festival was one of THE parties of the summer.
So while we take a few months off from promoting regular events we’ve got a very special series of one-offs lined up, the first of which sees up taking over T2 at East End rave palace Turnmills for our Third Birthday. Joining the celebrations will be the hotter than hot Audiofly. They’ve been releasing records for Moodmusic, Adrift, Mobilee and the brand new Tiefschwarz label Souvenir lately, their tight, techy productions doing all the right things in all the right places.
In T1, meanwhile, it’s a Member’s Special featuring Tim Sheridan (veryveryverywrongindeed), Paul Jackson, Big Daddy (Playtime) and Dan Van Damn.
Which about wraps it up for 2006. So what’s coming up next year? We’ll be announcing full details of our relaunch at super Shoreditch nightspot Herbal, taking place at the end of February, featuring some VERY special-guest DJs, very soon.
But before that it’s the second of our one-off Nodisko specials – Room 3 of Fabric on Saturday January 20th.
