Horror Disco / Soundtracks?
Out For The Count

Been hearing a lot of Horror soundtrack-esque influences in a few things recently - most recently the Timothy J Fairplay mix for Juno Download and his recent track on Weatherall's new Birdscarer label.
Got me digging out bits by Franceso Clemente, Smalts, John Carpenter, Fabio Frizzi, Goblin, Logic System amongst others.
But I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions along similar lines to recent Fairplay productions etc? I heard a recent set by Mr Weatherall on Boiler Room TV - and some of the gear he was playing was similar. Sadly, said mix hasn't appeared online yet, so can't give any further pointers.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated though.

this has 2 of the tracks from Tim's mix and also, a modern horror soundtrack from Jason Letkiewic aka Steve Summer aka Innergaze, using his Alan Hurst pseudonym. it really is based on music for a Haitian Voodoo documentary that we've put on to vinyl.
Tim also included a remix of one of the tracks on the mix he did. That won't be out till September.
Other modern horror soundtracks come from Umberto and Blakula.
Just had a listen to all the Emotional Response releases and the Innergaze stuff - really really good.
BO0oz - that Les Vampyrettes track is possibly the darkest thing I've ever heard. I heard it on a Weatherall mix tape some 16 years ago and never found out what it was until recently. It was a long wait but well worth it.
Quite liking the Blakula gear too - listened to it a while ago but totally forgot about it.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Anymore for anymore?
