It's the only hostel I've stayed at in Berlin, some ideas here though -

try airbnb.com you can get single rooms or whole apartments for cheap, prob the same or less than a hostel. great website, used it for amsterdam and got a class apartment for £30 a night each

Stayed here a couple of times - http://baxpax.de/en/downtown/fotos/

Highly recommended. More of a cheaper hotel than hostel, with bar, dining area etc and nice garden/terrace area thats a proper sun trap.

Good location situated in Mitte too Smile

thanks a lot for the help man. Would you recommend Downtown over Kreuzberg? Hoping to see a few art galleries/museums aswell as going to places like panorama bar and salon zur renate. I know theyre not too far from either hostels so any advice would be helpful, cheers.

I stayed in Downtown which I would def recommend, you'd be nearer to the clubs in Kreuzberg but your not going to be far from where you want to be if you stayed in either of those two Smile

Loving the 'roof terrace' shot, the man's threads 'n gyal, etc.
