Anyway, great slides.
Its in my loft somewhere and one of the (detachable) speakers in busted.
T0 be honest off hand I cant remember which brand it is but its dope.
Wasn't the biggest or loudest but its was built like a tank so you could turn it side ways and use it as a seat when watching the breakin circles.
'Sociologically neutral'? So by replacing a term that my have been used (however contextually) within a specific historical model, you are now seeking to de-historicize the term to play 'safe'? Sociology isn't scientific you know.
In stating 'it could be worse' I was indirectly referring to another term previously used here in the UK (I'm guessing you're in the States) which goes a step further in the wrong direction - 'wog box', wog being offensive slang. It existed but I don't think many would argue for its retention if giant portable stereos made a comeback.
