Green Velvet - "Preacher Man"

This is pretty obscure (and more than a little nerdy), but does anybody know who the preacher on &quot;Preacher Man&quot; actually is? <br /><br />The reason I ask is that I was watching a film called &quot;The Gift&quot; (with Cate Blanchett) recently and there's a scene in it where a radio is blasting out a preacher who sounds exactly like the guy Green Velvet samples giving an equally demented but different sermon. However, there was no mention of anything that looked like it in the credits. I therefore presume original recordings are available somewhere. Anyone?

I definitely read somewhere that Cajmere recorded the sermon off the radio one night. But no idea who the preacher is.
