Yeah, I thought the general census was pretty clear that sport should stay in General... or Culture as it's now known when we had an impromptu vote a little while back. I don't mind the new categories per se, it's the jumping about between them that's increasing the er, workflow

Can we have an alert system that let's us know when the threads get interesting in there non-sporting content? That way those of us who shy away from the footy (it's a long way away for one thing, and really, it's just not in my blood) and such can still get in on broader based topics that take place inside the sports threads.

I've only just clocked the appearance of this sporting ghetto and I'm not sure I approve either. Is there any greater art than Maradonna's 2nd against England in '86? If that ain't culture I don't know what is. Rather enjoyed his first too, truth be told.

I can see what you saying LB, I guess I've done it that way for so long that I don't even realise there are different sections, I didn't evenb realise until this thread that a sports section had been introduce, or a culture one come to think of it!

For the record though I don't think I've noticed enough threads about sport to warrant it's own section

A MP3 vs Vinyl or Pointless Edits section would be more relevant ;)
