Not the most convincing performance but a solid one all the same, great that Scholesy put us in the final, now Chelsea or Liverpool... I'm hoping Chelsea myself.
And equally thrilling I've just got my table footy polished, lubed and set up after its spent 7 years gathering rust and dust in my sister's garage, unbeaten in 5 games so far... without even trying... anyone want to challenge me?

Yes great game - I was a bag of nerves the minute we scored! Lionel Messi is just magical!

great atmosphere at OT, solid euro performance, bloody hangover.
had to turn the radio off this morning with bitter numpty's saying barca were the better team/played them of the park for 180 minutes. hello, I seem to remember a team always having 60% of possesion until the last third of the field. they won sweet FA also, spice boys they were called...
chelski v Utd final, trying to book a flight for my brother at the mo (I'll be back in a bout 6 hours)

Strangers hugging and dancing in the street round our way last night. Like 1945 all over again.

Barca had the ball most but they didn't create a really good chance in the whole tie. United hardly ever had it but they scored, missed a penalty and had a clear penalty turned down and even apart from that they had the best half-chances. I think they got the tactics wrong though, the Barca defence is so lame they should have gone at it, think it would have well and truly crumbled. Still, given that Ferguson went for the tactics he did they played them perfectly, defence was completely solid and when they did attack they did it with more purpose than Barca were able to muster. Apart from Messi Barcelona didn't have anything - though admittedly he's worth two players the slippery little bastard.

I thought Wes Brown was immense last night. I never thought I'd say that! To be honest, the injury to Vidic may well have helped United immeasurably. Without that, Brown would have probably played at right back and that could well have led to Barca creating either a penalty or some better chances. Aside from that Tevez was unbelievable and Carrick was fantastic too.
I do agree with you Little Richard, that United could have destroyed them, but it's very difficult to argue against tactics that have got them through!

Yes indeed, they are in the final, they're unbeaten, they've smashed the record for the most consecutive home wins - it seems churlish to complain.
Also yeah; Brown great, Tevez awesome, Park everywhere, Ferdinand solid and Scholes had at least one moment.
