Surely we should see some points deducted for this?
from bbc
Patrice Evra, Gary Neville, Ji-Sung Park and Paul Scholes were warming down after a 2-1 loss when they were asked to move by groundstaff, sparking a row.
The row reportedly started after Evra felt he was subject to racist abuse.
Striker Carlos Tevez is quoted in the Guardian claiming team-mate Evra was subject to a "grave insult".
The Argentine added: "He demanded an explanation and, from that moment, these men just wanted to attack Patrice.
& then....!
The Mirror reports that United have distanced themselves from any claims of racist abuse following a phone conversation between their chief executive David Gill and his Chelsea counterpart Peter Kenyon.
...........
the usual whitewash...no change - no points deducted

I think that's a very good idea Matt. The United players really should be acting more professionally and have brought the game into disrepute with this kind of behaviour. What with that and the Rio Ferdinand incident where he 'accidentally' kicked a Chelsea steward, then a points deduction or fine can be justified. Very bad losers Man United, just like their manager...its never their fault they lose, its always the ref's. Then Fergie comes out before a big game and starts talking about the need for respect for officials.

I was hoping for apoplectic rage or indignation at least, rather than resigned eye rolling. Note to self: Must try harder with the winding up...

If it was the Arsenal I could guarantee that points would be deducted for that incident. Damn funny though.

sounds like disgraceful behavior from some chelsea staff & 1 or 2 man u players.
but it was not in a public place - any action should be in a civil court of law-points docking is a non starter

I do find it hilarious how Cookular loses his usually estimable sense of humour when it comes to anyone having a go at Man Utd. ;)

look again he completly misses! - if evra's hurt it can't be more than be a scratch off someone who's trying to intervene.

Chelsea make me sick. Forget the result - we didn't play well, we're top of the league with two games left. We got beat. Chelsea played well. The behaviour afterwards was outrageous - one can only assume some kind of racist comment was made. What do expect from club staff though, when even the players are arguing during the game - Drogba arguing with Ballack about who should take a free kick, then sulking and whingeing to Steve Clarke on the touchline :o :( Not good - Did you see Essian's face, he looked embarassed, I was embarassed. Utter wankers.

touched a raw nerve CC?
rio ferdinand kicking a female stewardess, alex ferguson blaming everyone except himself, ranting about the penalty decision (which was completely correct).
i could go on
ironically, i would rather have man utd win the league from a purely footballing point of view, it's just their attitude when things go against them that pisses me off

On what grounds is this assumption based DC? Expert lip reader are you?

Personally I can't think of any reason for this to have any relevance to what happened afterwards. It was funny though.
Did you see Essian's face, he looked embarassed, I was embarassed.
Drogba is an embarrassment. FACT. The sooner we sell him, the better IMO. He might be good, but he is SOOOO annoying to see him going down all the time for nothing.
Utter wankers.
Bad loser. :tongueout

I am in fact an expert lip reader, but it was the reaction of the players that led me to this assumption. I hope it's not true, but....
You are right that the spoilt behaviour of Drogba during the match doesn't really have any relevance to this incident.
As for bad loser, well, we shall see about that come the end of the season.
