I called this morning to check it was okay for us to bring our little boy since Liz is coming with me and she's breastfeeding. We have tickets for both of us but not - fairly obviously, I though - need one for him.

"He will also need a ticket."
"He's three months old."
"He still needs a ticket. It's company policy."
"So even though he is not going to be occupying a seat, or watching thr game or doing anything other than sleepimg in a papoose, he will need a ticket. Do you not think this is a massive rip off?"

I'd go with the "turn up anyway, without 3rd ticket" option suggested above. You'd generally hope that when confronted with the reality of the situation, they'd realise how ludicrous it would be to ask you to buy a ticket for the kid.

However, the worst case scenario is that they'd say he needs a ticket, and then say that the place is sold out and you can't buy one, despite the fact that he doesn't need a seat.

The plan is to bowl up anyway. Frank's missus is also bringing their little un and Imogen's a wizz with the PR bullshit. Will be interesting to see if they turn them both away.

Not surprised about this.Mate used to take his lad to Anfield.Bit older than your kid but he was under 1.Had to pay for 2 seats even tho the kid was on his knee the whole time.Absolute madness.Not only is it unfair on you but its deprivin someone else the opportunity to see the game

And let's not start getting too misty-eyed over the old Wembley. It was a very large public toilet. Of course, having been an habitué of Stamford Bridge, I felt right at home there.

Fortunately, the people on the gate were a lot more human than the people who run the company. No problems at all. apart from the result, obviously. Outplayed and out-thought in every department, fair play to the Bastard Franchise Scum.

just got back, pretty lacklustre wasn't it

i thought they were a far better team

we were in the club wembley bit and they were taking harry haddocks and flags off people.
