Relocating To Sheffield

Hi Folks,

Got a new job and so it looks likely that I'll be relocating to Sheffield at the end of August/Early September. Any recommendations for nights out - preferably avoiding too much Woolworth's R&B/Ministry Of Sound comp house etc?

Also, I'll have to give up my bar residency in Scotland once I move but I'd like to keep my hand in DJ'ing while I'm down there. I'd only be looking for a bar/warm-up slot, something relatively low-key and I play Classic Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, and Latino. Any ideas where I should start hanging out/who I should start bothering etc?

look out for anything containing the words, solid, dulo, disco, buttshifters, inside out, winston, kabal. runaway, society, secret, fischer, lights, lowlife, rave, o and goodfolk and you wont go far wrong.
sure few of the guys will fill you in on here.
