Bouught my decks many moons ago on the cheap. They have never had the proper earthing lead, just raw wire that i plug into the mixer.

Over the years the earth wire has got shorter & shorter, to compensate i have taken some wire and and lengthed the now short earth wire. ie twisted the two pieces together. This has worked for the last 4 years, until now where i have a earthing buzz. Any ideas for a cheap fix or what could be causing this.

It may involve taking the deck apart and resoldering a new earth lead to your deck mate. Pretty sure there are some tutorials on the net on how to do it..
