The balanced XLR outs on my Urei 1620LE are behaving strangely - the L channel will always be louder than the right. I originally put this down to RIAA curve issues. However after it irked me too much I looked into it a bit deeper:
-Its doing it on Linelevel items (ie Traktor from a NI soundcard and my CD player)
-If I use the RCA Phono outs the levels are identical!! (ie the problem goes away)
Swapping cables/ turntables doesnt do anything - its the Urei at fault (both the House and Booth outs!! Only the R channel)
Anyone heard of this before? thx
