What's up y'all. Just wanted to let you guys know who I am.

Name's George, I'm from Detroit but living in Phoenix, AZ these days. I've been spinning since 1991 and have been dabbling in production since 93. I've been making Hip Hop (Koncept G), Detroit Techno (logic7), Minimal (logic7), Deep/Tech House (Subject28 ), Electro (Citizen of Titan), and Ghettotech (Logic State).

Lately I've been on a hip hop kick. I'd love to get your opinions on a few tracks I've done recently. They're at http://www.soundclick.com/konceptg and http://www.garageband.com/konceptg.

Welcome to the board KG. My two favourites were the tune on soundclick and the Golden One. The first was pretty much there as a backing track and I liked the sample loop on the second one.
As far as moving forward goes I think you could look to concentrate on the beats your using, doing more with them would lift the whole i reckon. either chopping them up more or maybe some layering to get a more distinctive sound going something a lil more outthere... just my 10 pence like

I got a few peeps i know who have put their beats up on myspace and have then hooked up with some MC's that way and that has totally locked it down and with digtal file sends etc you dont have to be in the same neighbourhood
