Downtownsounds is sorry to announce that Boo Williams will not now be appearing at Ri-Ra Friday night.
Stepping into the breach again is the heroic Steve Kotey of Chicken Lips. Steve was the man behind the infamous, dancefloor shredding disco edits series ‘Big Bear’ a few years back, and now runs ‘Bear Funk’, a home for his own tripped out discofried productions, as well as for work by underground heros like Lindstrom and Prins Thomas. He will be playing an across the board set that should take in lots of racy disco and bumpin’ house music, just like – boo hoo! – Boo would have done.
