Two of London’s most popular DJ crews are getting involved this Friday!
Taking over Room 2 will be DJs from one of the most fresh and exciting clubs of recent times, Chibuku Shake Shake. The Liverpool club started out five years ago at The Masque and became Merseyside’s toppermost house party-style rave-up simply by booking sh*t-hot, open-minded DJs across the club’s three rooms (now THERE’S an idea). Chibuku have been doing similarly ace London parties for the past few years, and tonight we’ve got southside ressies Dom Chung, Luke Carr and Matty J flexing their DJ muscle. Expect an unholy brew of disco, boogie, house, hip hop, electro and ooh, lots more.
Hosting Room 3 will be arguably the capital’s finest reggae-soul-funkateers, the Soul Jazz Records Soundsystem. What can you say about this lot that hasn’t been already said? Essential reissue compilations, super-cool warehouse parties, one of London’s finest record emporiums – they do it all, and then some. 100% dynamite sounds guaranteed!
Nodisko residents Zak & Magic get all tag team down in Room 1, playing their deeply dippy mix of alternative house, electromagnetic dancefloor bangers, party acid, cosmic disco and unclassics.
