Last week I picked up the new Paul Bennett on Modernista, Rick Howard on Beautiful Granville, Hakim Murphy on Metamorphic, Pawel on Dial, San Serac on Environ, and Black Jazz Consortium on Soul People Music. All ace.
And on the subject of Modernista, I did a piece on this quality new label here:
about to get into bed with a bottle of wine and Juno for the evening, havent looked at anything since early Feb, looking for some reet thumpers. any recommendations for perusal?

Off the top of me head (and without links)...
New SDC on Hands of Time is right up there for me at the moment. Plus top-notch remixes.
Rick Wade's got a new one out.
As do the always great Putsch 79.
House Machine - "AC / ID" on Little Rock does exactly what it says on the tin.
New Black Van on DFA is great.
New Ooft on Popular People's Front is again great.
Motor City Drum Ensemble just released all the Raw Cuts on a CD.
Kink has something good out on OVUM.
Everything recent on Wurst Music Co. has been awesome.
I'm not feeling it that much, but "Red Hot" by Cole Medina has got A LOT of people excited - definitely got thump to it.
. . . reckon that's the lot . . .
EDIT: just got into this guy Kuba Sojka's stuff. Had a track on the recent House of House RA Podcast called "Voice of Soul" - it's so so so so so so so good.

On the Dettman its all about the A1 (quite DanceMania-esque) and B1 (deep strings..like vintage 430West records) tracks, if you like it then go with your heart and buy it, you won' t regret it
Anything worth checking from last couple of months? Not looked since moving to London, not had chance to hit the shops yet or the set up I used to which enabled lengthy browsing in bed
A few that i'm rather enjoying over the last few months: -
Tracey Thorn - Why Does The Wind (Michel Cleis Remix)
Fred P. - On This Vibe (P.Scott mix is quality)
Ethyl & Flori - Those Eyes
Ryo Murakami - Malmoe
Patrick Specke - Antman (Delano Smith Remix)
Kuniyuki Takahashi - Once Again (Soulphiction Remix)
Donnacha Costello - It's What We Do (KiNK & Neville Watson Rework)
DJ Koze - Rue Burnout
Toby Tobias - Macasu (Motor City Drum Ensemble Loft Party Remix)
